1. What CareCall AI Is (and Isn't)

CareCall AI ("we," "us," "our") provides automated phone call reminders and wellness check-in services. We are a technology company, not a healthcare provider.

• We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
• We do not replace doctors, pharmacists, nurses, or other healthcare professionals
• We do not provide emergency services — call 911 in any emergency
• We do not guarantee that any call will be made, answered, or responded to
• Use of CareCall AI does not create a doctor-patient or healthcare provider relationship

2. Your Responsibilities

By using CareCall AI, you agree that:

• You have obtained permission from the person who will receive calls before setting up their account
• You are responsible for verifying all medication names, dosages, and schedules with a qualified healthcare provider before entering them into CareCall AI
• You will not rely solely on CareCall AI to manage critical healthcare needs
• You will maintain alternative methods of medication reminders and check-ins
• You are at least 18 years old
• You will provide accurate information when setting up accounts

3. No Medical Advice

CareCall AI does not provide medical advice. All information, reminder text, and call scripts are provided by you — the account holder — not by CareCall AI. We simply deliver the messages you create.

Always consult a qualified physician, pharmacist, or other licensed healthcare professional before making any decisions about medications or healthcare.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• CareCall AI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any missed calls, failed calls, or technical failures
• We are not liable for any health outcomes resulting from missed reminders or reliance on our service
• We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of CareCall AI
• Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding any claim

5. Emergency Situations

CareCall AI is not designed for emergency situations. If the person receiving calls:

• Is in immediate danger or experiencing a medical emergency
• Is unresponsive or has fallen
• Expresses thoughts of self-harm

Call 911 immediately. Do not wait for a CareCall AI check-in. CareCall AI is not a substitute for medical alert devices (such as Life Alert) or emergency services.

6. Privacy and Your Data

We collect and store: names, phone numbers, medication reminder text, and call response logs. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@carecallai.ca. We will delete your data within 30 days of receiving your request.

7. Service Availability

We do not guarantee that CareCall AI will be available 100% of the time. Calls may fail due to phone network issues, third-party service outages (including Twilio), or technical problems. We recommend maintaining backup reminder systems for critical medications.

8. Payment and Cancellation

Subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you by email of any material changes. Continued use of CareCall AI after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
